平成23年3月11日（金）に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震を受け、
プレオーガニックコットンプログラムのサポートするインドコットン農家を代表して、
インド側のパートナーである、
RAJ ECO FARMSの Rajesh Tanwar、Ganesh Karma、
並びにPATSPINのBK Patodia、Umang Patodiaより
日本国民への哀悼とお見舞いのメッセージが寄せられました。

It was really painful and heartbreaking to know the losses of life and property in Japan after devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan onFriday and killed several hundred and left many more homeless. We the team of Raj Ecofarms and the farming community offer our sincere sympathy and condolence to the victims.

We wish we had words to comfort and sustain you and your team in these moments but all we can do is to offer our prayers for the victim and hope that the life will pick its momentum again soon.

壊滅的な地震と津波が金曜日に日本を襲い、たくさんの命、家などが失われたことを知って、本当につらく、胸が張り裂けるような感覚を覚えます。私たちラジエコファームのチームと、コットン農家のコミュニティは、今回の犠牲者の皆様に対して、私たちの心からのお悔やみと哀悼の意を捧げます。

この瞬間、みなさんやみなさんの仲間の方々を慰めたり、元気づけたりする言葉を私たちが持っていれば、と思いますが、ただただ、今私たちができることは、被害にあった方々へ祈りを捧げることと、またすぐに生活が元通りになるよう願うばかりです。

We are very much shocked to see the natural disaster and the after effects in the Northern part of Japan. We are very sorry to note the massive destruction and the losses of life and materials taken place there, as well.

We are concerned about all at kurkku, Itochu, our customers, and its friends and families, and everybody. And we hope and pray that less people is directly affected in this disaster.

We pray the lord almighty to bring back the situation normal soon, and express our solidarity and support at this point of time. Best regards,

日本北部でおこった地震、津波とその後に起きたことに直面して、私たちはとてもショックを受けています。このとてつもない破壊について述べるのはとてもつらいですし、そこで営まれていた命やものが失われてしまったことを思うのも、とてもつらいです。

私たちはパートナであるクルック、伊藤忠そして、プレオーガニックコットンを使っていただいている皆さん、そしてその友達や家族、そして全ての方々を心配しています。みなさんがこの災害に直接的に影響を及ぼされていないことを望み、祈ります。

私たちは全能の力を持った神に、いつもと同じ毎日がすぐに取り戻されるよう祈ります。そして、私たちが日本の皆さんと一緒にいること、そしてサポートしたいと思っていることを、お伝えしたいと思います。
